6x6 Project is an artist-run online space for artists’ moving image work. Founded by Mirelle Borra in 2017, it brings together an international network of artists through an artists-selecting-artists model.

Inspired by the alternative art space movement of 1970s New York, six artists each select another artist every six weeks. With each selection, the archive grows as a network connecting artists and their practices.

6x6 Project provides a space for work to circulate online, beyond institutional and geographic boundaries. The archive lets the work continue to find viewers it might not otherwise reach.
